In every sphere of existence, confrontation is essential: getting close and engaging in dialogue is an act that demonstrates confidence and maturity, presupposing mutual enrichment. This is obviously also true in Art, indeed, in addition to being valid, it is essential. Art is freedom, originality, uniqueness, each artist expresses his or her emotions in a peculiar language. Without delay, let us therefore go and discover the interesting 'debate' in this exhibition.
... Can essentiality and complexity coexist under the banner of Beauty? Looking at Simone Louis' works, it seems that this can be possible. The artist works intensely on her canvases, using different techniques and at different times, on them one can clearly see the stratification of emotions and experiences; clear-cut forms share space with evanescent and blurred entities, collage at times peeps out and enlivens the scene. Authentic masterpieces in which genius perfectly reconciles informal and figurative...
For the artist, it is essential to create works that are the most sincere and direct reflection of his soul. Only by doing so can one give mankind true 'Art my way'. And it is precisely through dialogue and confrontation between these special expressions that human beings can truly enrich their spirit and look - with hopeful positivity - to an ever better future.
